Thursday brought a mixture of more clouds than sunshine for the Brazos Valley. Clouds prevail overnight, and as a south to southwesterly wind shift turns around, a shelf of fog will develop for portions of the Brazos Valley. Visibility could drop to zero, leading a slow commute time.
Before long, sunshine returns and afternoon highs heads for the upper 60’s to near 70°. After a weak cold front arrives Friday night, temperatures and weather conditions are reinforced for Saturday. Sunday brings warmer weather near 80° before our next cold front arrives Monday. Temperatures reach near 70° before tumbling into the middle 50’s during the afternoon. A chance for scattered showers, few thunderstorms are also possible. This sets up the extended forecast in the 50’s through much of the upcoming week and into the holiday weekend before Christmas 2019.
