Forecast Discussion:

We’ll keep an added rain chance in the forecast through the weekend across the Brazos Valley, as a “tropical mess” digs westward along Coastal Texas. In turn, it’ll produce a scattered rain chance Saturday and an isolated rain chance Sunday. We’ll kick off Saturday morning in the middle 70s and an isolated storm chance before afternoon highs round up in the mid-90s Saturday afternoon and a scattered chance for showers, few summertime storms in the Brazos Valley. Storm activity should track south to north with the main concerns being heavy downpours, gusty winds, and occasional lightning. Rain totals manage 0.10″-0.50″ with an isolated 1.00″ possible (very isolated in nature). Of course, temps are “cooler” because of the cloudy skies and added rains.

An isolated storm chance remains in the forecast Sunday. Afternoon highs linger around the upper 90s early week and an isolated rain chance continues through each day next week. Overall, nothing too beneficial but maybe enough to break up the monotony from this excruciating heat outside.

5-Day Weather Outlook:

Saturday: High 97. Low 73. Rainy. 40% Chance/Rain.

Sunday: High 99. Low 74. Mostly Sunny. 20% Chance/Rain.

Monday: High 99. Low 74. Mostly Sunny. 20% Chance/Rain.

Tuesday: High 98. Low 74. Mostly Sunny. 20% Chance/Rain.

Wednesday: High 96. Low 74. Mostly Sunny. 20% Chance/Rain.
