Forecast Discussion:
After a cool down on Friday, temperatures are on the climb through the weekend and into Christmas Week for Central and Southeast Texas. High pressure balloons over the State of Texas and Gulf moisture surges into the Coastal Texas. The combination leads to increased humidity levels, weather weather, and drier conditions for the Brazos Valley. One last cool morning in the 40s Saturday morning, before afternoon highs move into the middle-to-upper 70s Saturday afternoon for the Brazos Valley. Additionally, areas of dense fog will be possible across rural and low-lying areas across the Brazos Valley over the next several mornings because of the added moisture moving into the region. Use caution on local roadways, slow down, and use your head beams.

One weather disruption for the next seven days is a very weak cold front that will move through the Lone Star State. That front could approach the Brazos Valley, kicking off a very isolated chance for showers to end the weekend. However, by next week, temperatures move closer to the 80° mark by Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as the rain chances fall flat. The last ten days of the month are expected to bring well above normal temperatures for much of the Continental United States. Overall, not looking very holiday-ish outdoors for the upcoming week. Keep the shorts and shades handy and soak up the sunshine.

5-Day Weather Outlook:

Monday: High 75. Low 64. Mostly Sunny.
