Forecast Discussion:
Starting Sunday morning across the Brazos Valley on a colder, frosty note, as this latest cold front brings colder, cloudy conditions to begin the week. Temperatures dip around freezing (32°) by Sunday morning in Southeast and Central Texas. A light freeze is possible across Leon, Madison, and Houston Counites. Afternoon highs struggle in the upper 50s to 60° Sunday afternoon under a mixture of sunshine and clouds. Overall, temperatures are seasonably cool, so break out the jackets and coat for those Sunday morning services and outings across the Brazos Valley. The colder weather is expected to stick with us through the middle of the week, so expect a nice break from those warmer temperatures.

Monday and Tuesday afternoon bring highs are seasonable averages (around 60°) for the Brazos Valley, but highs move back into the middle 60s midweek (with high pressure keeping things dry) before another cold front looks to impact us by Wednesday. By the following weekend, a cold front, one of the strongest of the season, looks to bring colder temperatures for late January 2026. There could be a bit of rain with that system, but we’ll have to keep an eye on model data to pin that down locally. For now, enjoy a quiet, cool week across the Brazos Valley.
