Forecast Discussion:
Over the next two weeks, afternoon temperatures will reach the 70s and lower-to-middle 80s across Central and Southeast Texas. On average, these type of temperatures are more suitable for March and April standards across the Brazos Valley. With southerly winds fanning, morning lows are also warmly, beginning each day around the 60° mark across the Brazos Valley. Patchy fog and dew is expected each morning because of the increased humidity from those southerly winds. Partly cloudy skies and a breezy south wind is expected throughout each afternoon. Overall, a very springy forecast expected for Southeast Texas the next few weeks.

The driving force behind this springy, dry weather is high pressure reasserting itself over the State of Texas through the middle portion of the week. By the weekend, another weather system looks to move towards the Brazos Valley. This system, however looks to remain further away from the Brazos Valley, meaning it won’t be as impactful (wet or cooler) than last weekend’s system. We’ll still hold onto a 20% chance for showers Saturday, which looks like it could be the last rain chance for the month of February 2026, and the region needs more beneficial rainfall to wipe out local conditions.

5-Day Weather Outlook:
Tuesday: High 77. Low 60. Partly Cloudy.
Wednesday: High 79. Low 63. Partly Cloudy.
Thursday: High 81. Low 58. Partly Cloudy.
Friday: High 78. Low 55. Partly Cloudy.
Saturday: High 74. Low 44. Mostly Sunny. 20% Chance/Rain.
