We’re entering the middle part of February with warmer, quiet weather for the upcoming work week across Southeast and Central Texas. This past weekend brought much needed rainfall and gusty winds to the Brazos Valley, but Sunday was quiet, breezy and drier. Monday morning will be the coolest morning this week, as morning lows dip into the upper 40s across the Brazos Valley. Partly cloudy skies take over quickly, leading to highs in the lower 70s Monday afternoon across the Brazos Valley. In fact, much of the upcoming week looks to be rather warm across the region.

High pressure builds across the Lone Star State this week, as an onshore flow warms up temperatures and brings added humidity to the atmosphere. The Brazos Valley sees temperatures around 80° by the middle part of the week and hanging around there through the start of the weekend. Another rain system looks to arrive by next weekend in the Brazos Valley, stirring up an isolated rain chance for Saturday and Sunday. Coverage looks to be 20%, at best for the Brazos Valley. Cloudier than sunnier weather is expected through much of the week. Overall, a pretty quiet and dull forecast through the next seven days with a few splashes of rain to hit the windshield by the weekend across the Brazos Valley.
