Forecast Discussion:
We’re entering the part of the spring season where the Brazos Valley “washes, rinses, and repeats”–as warm, drier weather plagues the region for the next week. We’ll begin Tuesday morning with temperatures around 60°, with a touch of humidity and areas of light fog. With enough moisture in the air, morning clouds could linger through the early afternoon hours, before sunshine takes over the rest of Wednesday in the Brazos Valley. We’ll continue this general trend of muggy mornings followed by sunny, warm afternoons in the middle 80s through the end of the week.
By the start of the weekend, a weak cold front moves into Southeast Texas, allowing temperatures to slip from the 80s into the middle 70s Saturday afternoon. Temperatures are slightly cooler through the overnight hours, as they dip into the middle/upper 50s by Sunday morning across the Brazos Valley. Of course, this frontal system lacks the necessary rainfall element to this forecast. However, the Brazos Valley could see wetter days as we move closer to early April 2026. For now, there doesn’t appear to be any rainfall in the forecast through the next seven days, as the region continues to see a surge in summerlike weather. For now, break out the sunshades and shorts and soak up the sun!
