Forecast Discussion:
One of the coolest mornings we’ll likely see for some time to come arrives Sunday morning, as low temperatures dip into the lower-to-middle 50s across the Brazos Valley. For the first time in a couple of days, sunshine is back on the books and temperatures race for the lower 80s across Southeast Texas Sunday afternoon. Keep in mind, pollen is still in the air across Central and Southeast Texas, and there hasn’t been any rainfall in the forecast to wash it all out. However, better rain chances is back in the forecast for the upcoming holy week for the Brazos Valley.
Temperatures reach the middle 80s Monday and approach the 90° mark Tuesday for the Brazos Valley. By the start of April 1st (Wednesday), temperatures should drop a few degrees on both sides of the clock, as clouds move back into the forecast. Rain chances return mid-to-late week in the Brazos Valley, as high pressure recedes eastward and a series of spring systems moves through the region moving into the weekend. Wednesday night into Thursday likely sees the best chance of rainfall for the upcoming week. Rain chances are more isolated by the holiday weekend, but that could shift as this forecast continues to be molded out throughout the upcoming week.
