We’re ringing in the fall season tonight across the Western Hemisphere, but it sure isn’t feeling like it here in the Brazos Valley, as temperatures remain on the hotter side through the end of the month. With all that said, there is a weak front that could spark additional chances for isolated showers and pop-up thunderstorms across the Brazos Valley through the middle of the week. However, the chance is very, very slim and most of us look to remain dry throughout the remainder of the week locally.
Drier air filters back into the Brazos Valley Thursday and Friday, as a weak “cool” front moves through the area. In turn, that front brings humidity levels back some and drop temperatures into the middle 90s areawide to end the week and move into the weekend in the Brazos Valley. The real treat will be a couple of mornings in the upper 60s by the start of the weekend across Southeast Texas. Unfortunately, any larger impacts for cooler air are expected to remain well north of the Brazos Valley and landlocked across North Texas to end the month. The unseasonably warm weather continues right into the start of October 2026.
