Forecast Discussion:
Autumn air settled in the Brazos Valley, bringing cooler and sunny weather for the weekend. Unfortunately, warmer and drier conditions are expected heading into the upcoming week. In fact, the morning hours this week are the best chance to find seasonably cool weather across the Brazos Valley, as temperatures during the afternoon slowly warm up throughout the week.

Over the week, high pressure strengthens over the State of Texas, bringing drier, sunny, and warming weather to the Brazos Valley. Temperatures warm up each day this week, with no rainfall in the forecast for the Brazos Valley. Temperatures climb into the lower/middle 80s through the middle of the week before highs approach the 90° mark by the start of the weekend across Central and Southeast Texas. With drier and warming weather, drought conditions could worsen and allergies could get stirred up from all the ragweed and pollen outdoors. We’re hoping we can find a few additional cold fronts before the end of the month, but the latest NWSCPC forecast looks to see warmer weather to end the month.
