Forecast Discussion:
A stellar weekend to get out to across the Brazos Valley this weekend, as coolish, sunny weather takes carries us through Saturday and Sunday. Morning lows dip into the lower 50s across the Brazos Valley Sunday morning, as a south wind starts to turn around through the day. Afternoon temperatures rebound into the upper 70s to near 80° Sunday afternoon, making it a fantastic day. However, changes are coming our way this week.

High pressure continues influence our forecast heading into the week across the Brazos Valley, keeping conditions tranquil, sunny, and warm through midweek. South winds turn around, becoming gusty by Tuesday and ripening up the atmosphere for a rainmaking event heading into midweek. Our next chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms arrives Wednesday into Thursday, as a cold front and low pressure system move towards the Brazos Valley. A few noisy storms are also possible, but its still too early to pin down timing and impacts. Temperatures climb into the middle 80s Wednesday, before readings drop into the 70s late week. Spotty rain chances stay on the books Thursday through the weekend, as temperatures slowly warm back into the 80s Saturday and Sunday.
