Forecast Discussion:
A warmer, drier weekend continues for one more day this weekend before humidity levels increase heading into next week across the Brazos Valley. Morning lows dip into the middle/upper 60s areawide through the start of the week, as afternoon highs move into the lower/middle 90s through the next several days across Southeast Texas. While it’s hot by October standards, the drier air keeps us from feeling too burden by the heat through the middle of the week across the Brazos Valley.

Over the weekend, post-tropical Isaias is moving inland over Southeastern United States, bringing heavy rains, flash flooding, and storm damage. Weather conditions are much quieter here in the Brazos Valley, but we do have some rainier changes heading into next week. Gulf moisture pours into the atmosphere Monday, bringing more humid weather and creating additional chances for passing showers and thunderstorms Tuesday through Thursday. However, the chance is only 20-30% at best for the Brazos Valley, with most of us staying dry. Highs move into the middle 90s areawide mid-to-late week, as southeasterly winds and an onshore flow continues to push inland Our next cold front arrives in the Brazos Valley Friday, bringing mornings back in the lower 60s and highs in the 80s for the back half of October.
