Forecast Discussion:
Ending the week with sunny and comfortable weather across Central and Southeast Texas, as high pressure influences our forecast. With high pressure systems gridlocked on each end of the nation (“called an Omega Block”), this sunny, warm, and drier weather continues through the end of the week and into the upcoming weekend, with the only noticeable change being a slight bump in humidity levels and temperatrues. Even with a slight uptick in temperatures, it’s still so comfortable outdoors, especially during the early and mid-morning hours across the Brazos Valley.

The mornings are the best time to find seasonable Autumn air across the Brazos Valley into the weekend, with lows dipping into the 50s areawide. Afternoon highs slowly climb up the thermometer into the middle 80s Friday throguh Sunday, as high pressure strengthens across the Brazos Valley. The only downside to drier, cool air is the elevate fire danger and allergies issues that come along with it, so use caution outdoors. By next week, a second cold front arrives in the Brazos Valley, keeping our mornings seasonably cool and afternoons comfortable. While we’re still a week out, our next round of storms could arrive around Halloween in the Brazos Valley.

5-Day Weather Outlook:

Sunday: High 80. Low 54. Partly Cloudy.
Monday: High 81. Low 56. Partly Cloudy.
Tuesday: High 78. Low 55. Partly Cloudy. 20% Chance/Rain.
