Forecast Discussion:
Clouds increased over the Brazos Valley the past days across the Brazos Valley, with warmer and rainy weather heading our way for Halloween weekend. First, morning lows dip into the muggy 60s across the Brazos Valley Friday morning before highs move into the upper 70s to 80° Friday afternoon. A round of disturbances shifts across the State of Texas over the holiday weekend, increasing local rain chances late Friday and into Saturday in the Brazos Valley.

The latest model runs show the better chances for rain look to be Friday evening through midday Saturday for Central and Southeast Texas. Weather conditions look to be improved heading into trick-or-treating plans (the evening hours of Saturday) across the Brazos Valley. Most of Saturday should be drier, with lighter rain chances expected through the morning hours, salvaging our outdoor plans through the remainder of the weekend. Beyond the weekend, our next weather system looks to arrive in the Brazos Valley around Election Day Tuesday, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms to the area and a drop in temperatures as well. In fact, morning lows could drop into the 40s and 50s areawide by the middle of next week for the Brazos Valley.

5-Day Weather Outlook:
Friday: High 77. Low 61. Mostly Cloudy.
Halloween: High 80. Low 62. Storms. 60% Chance/Rain.
Sunday: High 82. Low 65. Partly Cloudy, Warmer.
Monday: High 84. Low 66. Mostly Sunny. 20% Chance/Rain.
Election Day: High 78. Low 53. Storms. 70% Chance/Rain.
